Hailed for her “crystalline high notes” and “pristine, clear, gorgeous vocals”, Evy has built a cross over career in theater, concert work and television. She is known for combining a strong soprano voice with a comedic delivery and her dazzling coloratura. She toured throughout the USA as Maria in the National Broadway Tour of WEST SIDE STORY and debuted that production in Canada and Japan. She also played the role in many regional productions across the USA. Other theater credits include Luisa in the off-Broadway productions of THE FANTASTICKS at the Jerry Orbach Theater (directed by Tom Jones), Looloo Caroll in FIFTY MILLION FRENCHMEN at the York Theatre, Honey in WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF and many more. She made her network television debut in the role of Rosaria Santos in the NBC hit show LAW AND ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME. In addition to her theater and television work she has appeared as a featured soloist in numerous concerts, including MUSIC CITY CHRISTMAS with the Nashville Symphony alongside Kellie Pickler, INSIDE BROADWAY: BROADWAY AT THE MOVIES, MUSIC MAN IN CONCERT with Orchestra Kentucky, THE WEST POINT HOLIDAY SHOW, WEST SIDE STORY IN CONCERT with the Norwalk Orchestra and her own NYC solo concert at the Metropolitan Room. Evy is a native New Yorker born and raised in and out of the fabulous city.
Old Hollywood movies were her inspiration and she knew early on she wanted to perform. As a little girl she performed with a theater group throughout NYC. She studied theater at Pace University where she performed in everything from improv experimental plays to Shakespeare classics. While pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree she also studied classical singing privately and trained as a lyric coloratura. She returned to school to attain her Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance at New York University. When she is not performing she loves to cook (chicken cutlets are her specialty), read mysteries and historical fiction (she's a history nerd), sing high notes with her dog and travel anywhere historic or warm....you can often find her hiking somewhere with a beautiful view. In addition to her performing career she has taught theater, voice and piano to children and teens in various programs. She currently resides in Westchester County, NY and studies voice with Dr. Brian Gill.
